Psimulator  یک شبیه ساز شبکه  ساده گرافیکی لینوکس و سیسکو می باشد که برای آموزش با هدف آشنایی با اساس شبکه های آی پی  ساخته شده است.
این نرم افزار  ساخت و ساز شبکه های مجازی شامل لینوکس و روترها (اساسی) cisco و سوئیچ ها ساده را امکان پذیر میکند.
شبکه های مجازی می تواند به راحتی و به سرعت در رابط کاربر گرافیکی ایجاد شود.

Psimulator2.5 is simple graphical linux and cisco network simulator created for education purposes - learning IP networks basis. It allows building virtual network consisted of linux and (basic) cisco routers and simple switches. Psimulator2 is enhacement of previous version of simulator. Virtual network can be easily and quickly created in graphical user interface. Network devices (linux and cisco routers) are configured via command line over telnet protocol. Telnet client is included in GUI or different client (putty, linux telnet) can be used. GUI is designed to capture and display packets in virtual network (like Wireshark). Virtual network can be connected to real network.
Psimulator2 was developed at Czech technical university in Prague, Faculty of information technology, and it is used for computer networks learning. Psimulator2 is multiplatform application written in Java (version 7).

TOSSIM  یک سیستم شبیه ساز کوچک است که بطور مستقیم کد های TinyOS را کامپایل میکند.این نرم افزار یه شبکه توسعه یافته،ADC و رابط مدل فضایی دارد.

.TOSSIM is the TinyOS simulator. TOSSIM compiles directly from TinyOS code, and is by default automatically compiled (make pc). TOSSIM has an extensible network, ADC, and spatial model interface. The default provided models are very simplistic, but the interfaces allow models of significant complexity if needed.
TOSSIM provides several mechanisms for interacting with the network; packet traffic can be monitored, packets can be statically or dynamically injected into the network, and TinyOS call invocation can be logged.

Because TinyOS applications run as native code under TOSSIM, traditional debugging tools can be used
